Auto Essentials Business Development
Auto Essentials was a niche ecommerce brand I built and sold selling carbon fiber BMW parts and Toyota suspension through a clean, conversion-focused store.

Auto Essentials was a niche e-commerce brand I built around carbon fiber BMW accessories and Toyota off-road parts. It started as a dropshipping store, but quickly evolved into a business with real supplier relationships, custom packaging, and strong recurring revenue. I saw a gap in the market for clean, trustworthy product listings in the auto space—and filled it.
I handled everything from branding and product selection to customer service and fulfillment automation. The website ran lean, with a strong focus on conversion rate and low overhead. Ads were dialed in to target specific models and car communities, which helped us acquire high-intent customers at great margins.
Eventually, I formed direct relationships with the manufacturers, which cut out middlemen and boosted margins significantly. That shift made the business more attractive and led to a successful acquisition. It wasn’t a massive exit, but it was a generous one, and it helped fund future projects like Bookura.
Lessons I’ve Learned
Building a real brand matters—even in dropshipping
Supplier relationships are everything
Simplicity in product listings wins over fancy design
