Million Dollar Streetwear (Client Rebrand)

Million Dollar Streetwear is a high volume clothing resale business managing over $400,000 in inventory. I stepped in to solve a massive problem they were facing with chargebacks, fraud, and unreliable checkout flows and ended up rebuilding the entire system from the ground up.

Million Dollar Streetwear was already doing real numbers when I got involved. Founded by two of my close friends, Josh and Andrew, it had grown into one of the more well-known resale brands in its space. They were moving product fast, sourcing high-demand pieces, and had a loyal customer base. But like a lot of fast-growing e-commerce brands, they were running into serious problems with Shopify specifically around chargebacks, payment fraud, and backend limitations.

When you're holding hundreds of thousands in inventory and dealing with high-ticket streetwear sales, one fraudulent chargeback isn’t just annoying it’s expensive. They needed a more secure, direct way to control how payments were handled and how products were uploaded. That’s where I came in. I offered to help them build a new system from scratch one built around Stripe Connect, with full control of the stack.

The goal was simple: keep the brand experience clean while giving them the reliability Shopify couldn’t. We created a custom-built site that handled everything from product uploads to live drops to secure checkout. No more third-party plugins or bloated themes. We gave them fast, lightweight tech and direct payment control—fully integrated with Stripe Connect to split payouts, reduce risk, and handle taxes properly.

We mirrored the familiar e-commerce flows—product pages, collections, cart, checkout—but rebuilt it in a way that removed friction and gave them full ownership of every step. Now when they upload a new item, it goes live instantly, and buyers get a seamless, mobile-optimized checkout experience that doesn’t compromise on security. Everything is trackable, clean, and easy to manage.

This wasn’t just a dev project. It was a full operational revamp. We helped them restructure how they handle drops, inventory, fraud checks, and even how they communicate on the backend with buyers. What used to be a Shopify headache became a locked-in system they actually trust. And it looks just as clean as it runs.

It was a fun one. Josh and Andrew are two of the hardest-working guys I know, and it felt good to contribute something that actually made their lives easier. Million Dollar Streetwear continues to grow—and now it has the backend infrastructure to support that growth without risking their brand or their bottom line.
